What We Do

 

• We organize the annual Tibet Fest, which is one of the most visited festivals of ethnic community groups in Philadelphia.

• We organize events and activities such as the Birthday of H.H. the Dalai Lama on July 6, Tibetan National Uprising Day on March 10, and the “LOSAR” Tibetan New Year.

• We maintain close touch with the Central Tibetan Administration in India through Office of Tibet, in Washington D.C., in promotion of the Tibetan people’s distinct political, religious and cultural heritage.

• We raise funds for various social and developmental projects within the Tibetan Community and help other sister communities in India and Tibet.

• Tibetan Association of Philadelphia serves the Tibetan Community throughout Philadelphia region.  This Association provides programs in cultural preservation, community building and development, youth development and education.
